Sterile Processing Technician
We are seeking a detail-oriented Sterile Processing Technician to clean, disinfect, sterilize, and prepare medical instruments and equipment for safe clinical use. The technician will follow strict sterilization protocols, operate sterilization equipment, inspect instrument quality, maintain accurate logs, and ensure all surgical and procedural teams receive properly prepared and packaged supplies.
Responsibilities:
• Clean, decontaminate, sterilize, and assemble medical instruments and trays.
• Operate sterilization equipment and follow proper handling procedures.
• Inspect instruments for cleanliness, functionality, and safety before packaging.
• Maintain accurate records of sterilization cycles and equipment usage.
• Organize, store, and distribute sterile supplies to clinical departments.
• Follow infection control standards and maintain a safe work environment.
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred.
• Knowledge of sterilization techniques, medical instruments, and infection control.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently.
Pay Rate
$33.14 - $38.02/hour
