Position Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Registered Nurse (RN) to serve as a Nurse Educator. The RN Nurse Educator will support clinical excellence by developing, coordinating, and delivering education programs for nursing staff, promoting evidence-based practice, professional development, and compliance with regulatory and organizational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver orientation, onboarding, and continuing education programs for nursing staff
• Assess learning needs and design educational content to support clinical competencies
• Provide clinical education, skills validation, and competency assessments
• Support implementation of evidence-based practice and clinical standards
• Collaborate with leadership to support staff development and performance improvement
• Assist with policy updates, procedure training, and regulatory readiness
• Maintain accurate records of education, competencies, and training outcomes
• Support quality improvement, patient safety, and compliance initiatives
• Serve as a clinical resource and mentor to nursing staff
• Participate in staff meetings, committees, and education-related initiatives
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN required; MSN preferred)
• Minimum 3 years of recent clinical nursing experience required
• Prior experience in staff education, training, or clinical instruction preferred
• Strong teaching, presentation, and facilitation skills
• Excellent communication, organization, and documentation abilities
• Knowledge of adult learning principles and clinical competency standards
• Commitment to professional development and high-quality patient care
Pay Rate
$86.96 - $91.83/hour
