Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Radiology Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established radiology protocols. The Radiology Technologist will ensure high-quality imaging, maintain patient safety and comfort, and collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to support accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic radiographic examinations as ordered by physicians
• Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures
• Operate radiographic imaging equipment to obtain high-quality images
• Ensure radiation safety and adherence to ALARA principles
• Review images for technical quality and completeness
• Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation
• Assist radiologists during interventional or contrast procedures as required
• Maintain imaging equipment and report equipment issues promptly
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards
• Collaborate with radiologists, nurses, and healthcare team members
Required Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
• Current ARRT certification in Radiography (R) required
• Active state licensure as required
• Minimum 1 year of recent radiology or imaging experience preferred
• Knowledge of radiographic anatomy, positioning, and imaging techniques
• Strong attention to detail and image quality standards
• Excellent patient care, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Flexibility to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays
Pay Rate
$17.00 - $17.00/hour
