This is ICU position
This postion must be open to work any shits no exeptions 80 HRS every 2 weeks also no execptions ICU/CCU RN to coordinate, provide care and meet the individualized age appropriate needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patient population in the ICU/CCU. The ICU/CCU provides services for surgical patients or patients with serious respiratory and/or cardiac conditions requiring the specialized services of the ICU/CCU. 4 bed / 4 rooms, Patient Ratio 1:2 depending on acuity....if 2 patients and one on the vent, a second nurse will be called in.
After hour PACU recovery
Emergency room experience recommended.
Hospital orientation through HR and in-service...then Unit orientation with nurse manager 1-2 day shift then 1-2 night shifts with staff RN....orientation / competency binder to be completed.
float to OB, MS, PACU and ER to assist according to the individuals competency level
