Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA)
We are seeking a compassionate and patient-focused Geriatric Nursing Assistant to provide care and support to elderly patients. The GNA will assist with daily living activities, monitor patient conditions, and work closely with the healthcare team to ensure comfort, safety, and quality of life for geriatric patients.
Responsibilities:
• Assist elderly patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and mobility.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes to nursing staff.
• Provide support with feeding, hygiene, and personal care needs.
• Ensure patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided.
• Support a clean and safe patient care environment.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Geriatric Nursing Assistant (GNA) certification/license.
• Completion of an approved nursing assistant training program.
• BLS certification preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work with elderly patients in a compassionate manner.
• Previous geriatric or long-term care experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$17.00 - $17.00/hour
