Position Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly reliable Sterile Compounder to support pharmacy operations through the preparation of sterile medications in accordance with established protocols and regulatory standards. The Sterile Compounder will be responsible for compounding intravenous medications, maintaining aseptic technique, ensuring product accuracy, and supporting safe medication delivery in a controlled sterile environment.

Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare sterile compounded medications, including IV admixtures, injections, and infusions
• Perform aseptic compounding in cleanroom environments following USP and standards
• Accurately measure, label, and document compounded medications
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of cleanrooms, hoods, and compounding areas
• Perform routine cleaning, sanitization, and environmental monitoring as required
• Inspect medications for accuracy, sterility, and proper labeling prior to dispensing
• Follow standard operating procedures and safety guidelines for hazardous and non-hazardous drugs
• Maintain detailed compounding logs and documentation for quality and compliance purposes
• Report discrepancies, errors, or equipment issues promptly
• Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy staff to ensure timely medication preparation
• Support inventory management and proper storage of sterile supplies

Required Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Pharmacy Technician training or sterile compounding experience required
• Experience working in a sterile compounding or cleanroom environment preferred
• Strong knowledge of aseptic technique and sterile compounding practices
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management skills
• Ability to follow detailed instructions and safety protocols
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, regulated environment
• Commitment to quality, patient safety, and compliance standards

Pay Rate
$24.00 - $24.00/hour
