Position Summary:
We are seeking a qualified Polysomnographer / Sleep Technologist to perform comprehensive neurodiagnostic and sleep studies for patients with sleep and respiratory disorders. This role is responsible for conducting overnight polysomnography, monitoring physiological parameters, assisting with diagnostic and therapeutic procedures, and ensuring accurate data collection in accordance with physician orders, clinical protocols, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform diagnostic sleep studies, including overnight polysomnography
• Apply and monitor EEG, EOG, EMG, ECG, airflow, respiratory effort, and oxygen saturation sensors
• Conduct CPAP, BiPAP, and other positive airway pressure titration studies
• Monitor patient status throughout testing and respond to clinical needs or emergencies
• Accurately score sleep studies and document findings per established guidelines
• Ensure proper calibration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of sleep diagnostic equipment
• Educate patients on testing procedures and proper use of respiratory devices
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and privacy during studies
• Communicate findings and concerns to physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Adhere to infection control policies, safety standards, and clinical protocols
• Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant clinical documentation
Pay Rate
$60.28 - $65.16/hour
