Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to provide comprehensive nursing care to adult patients on a Medical-Surgical Telemetry unit. The RN will manage patients with a wide range of medical conditions requiring continuous cardiac monitoring, deliver evidence-based care, and collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and ongoing evaluations
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and telemetry data
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and treatments as prescribed
• Develop, implement, and evaluate individualized nursing care plans
• Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Coordinate care with physicians and interdisciplinary team members
• Educate patients and families regarding conditions, medications, and care plans
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
• Ensure compliance with patient safety standards and infection control protocols
• Support unit operations and maintain continuity of patient care
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Med/Surg or Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Current BLS certification (ACLS preferred)
• Strong knowledge of cardiac monitoring and medical-surgical nursing care
• Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
Pay Rate
$67.89 - $72.76/hour
