Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide trauma-informed and evidence-based nursing care within a behavioral health and recovery setting. The RN will oversee medication management, support patient stabilization, and collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to ensure quality and continuity of care.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient assessments, vitals, and monitoring.
• Administer medications and maintain accurate Medication Administration Records (MARs).
• Support patient education and treatment adherence.
• Respond effectively to clinical or behavioral changes.
• Document nursing care accurately and timely.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to promote patient safety and recovery outcomes.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Iowa or eligibility to obtain prior to start.
• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in behavioral health, detox, or mental health preferred.
• Strong crisis management and clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
• CPR and First Aid certification required within 30 days of hire.
