Registered Nurse – Operating Room (OR)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care in the Operating Room. The OR RN will ensure patient safety, maintain sterile environments, assist during surgical procedures, and collaborate with the surgical team to support optimal surgical outcomes.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare patients for surgical procedures and verify consents and documentation.
• Maintain a sterile and safe operating room environment.
• Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers during procedures.
• Monitor patient status throughout surgery.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper handling of instruments and supplies.
• Provide post-operative care and patient education.
• Document patient care and surgical details accurately.
Qualifications:
• Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and critical-thinking skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
• Previous Operating Room experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$53.25 - $58.13/hour
