Registered Nurse – Intensive Care Unit (High Acuity Cardiac/Neuro ICU)
We are seeking a highly experienced Registered Nurse to provide advanced care to critically ill patients in a high-acuity Intensive Care Unit specializing in cardiac and neurological conditions. The RN will manage complex cases including stroke, advanced heart failure, and post-surgical recovery while utilizing advanced critical care equipment and therapies.
Responsibilities:
• Provide comprehensive care to high-acuity cardiac and neuro ICU patients.
• Manage patients with acute stroke, neuro injuries, and post-cardiovascular surgery recovery.
• Monitor and manage EVDs, neurologically impaired patients, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, and CRRT.
• Administer titratable drips and advanced cardiac and neurological treatments.
• Continuously assess hemodynamic and neurological status and respond to changes promptly.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
• Minimum 3 years of ICU critical care experience required.
• High-acuity experience in CV/CV Surgery ICU or Neuro ICU required.
• At least 3 years in Cardiac or High-Acuity Neuro ICU with EVD and neuro patient experience.
• Strong knowledge of stroke management; experience in a stroke-focused program preferred.
• Experience with advanced heart failure management, CRRT, balloon pumps, Swan-Ganz catheters, and surgical recovery.
Certifications Required:
• BLS
• ACLS
• NIHSS
Interview Process:
• Phone screening followed by in-person interview.
Orientation:
• Scheduled during the week prior to start.
Pay Rate
$60.98 - $65.85/hour
