Guaranteed Hours: 60 hours per 2-week period (Traveler may be called off for 1 shift per 2-week period)

Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced Travel CT Technologist to join a fast-paced, high-acuity Level II Trauma Center for a 13-week night assignment. The CT Tech will perform diagnostic CT procedures for emergency, inpatient, and outpatient populations, with a strong emphasis on stroke protocol efficiency and trauma imaging.
This role requires flexibility to float between the Emergency Department and Main CT, ensuring timely, high-quality imaging services across departments.
Key Responsibilities

Perform CT procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols

Demonstrate strong proficiency in stroke protocol imaging and rapid response workflow

Provide imaging support for trauma, emergency, inpatient, and outpatient cases

Prepare, position, and monitor patients during CT exams
-
Administer contrast media in accordance with policy and safety standards

Evaluate images for diagnostic quality and accuracy

Document procedures and patient information in EPIC

Maintain radiation safety and infection control standards

Collaborate effectively with radiologists, ED staff, and interdisciplinary care teams

Participate in on-call coverage as required
Required Qualifications
-
Minimum 1 year of CT experience required
-
First-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience

Must have worked with the client facility within the last 1 year

Stroke protocol efficiency experience required

ARRT (R) – Registered Radiologic Technologist

ARRT (CT) – Computed Tomography Certification
-
BLS (Basic Life Support) Certification
-
Ability to work independently in a high-volume, trauma-focused environment
Pay Rate
$75.15 - $80.03/hour
