Radiation Therapist
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Radiation Therapist to deliver radiation therapy treatments to patients as prescribed by the radiation oncologist. The Radiation Therapist will operate specialized equipment, ensure patient safety, and provide supportive care throughout the treatment process.
Responsibilities:
• Administer prescribed radiation therapy treatments accurately and safely.
• Position patients and operate radiation therapy equipment.
• Monitor patients during treatment and respond to concerns.
• Maintain precise treatment records and documentation.
• Collaborate with radiation oncologists, physicists, and care teams.
• Educate patients on treatment procedures and potential side effects.
• Follow radiation safety standards and protocols.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Radiation Therapy program.
• Active and unrestricted Radiation Therapist license or certification.
• ARRT certification in Radiation Therapy preferred.
• Strong technical, communication, and patient care skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced oncology environment.
• Previous clinical experience in radiation therapy preferred.
Pay Rate
$71.69 - $76.57/hour
