Infusion Nurse (RN)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and independent Infusion Nurse (RN) to provide safe and effective intravenous therapy services. The Infusion Nurse will start IVs, administer prescribed infusion medications, monitor patients for adverse reactions, document clinical care, and communicate with medical leadership as needed while delivering high-quality patient-centered care.

Key Responsibilities:
• Initiate and maintain intravenous access for infusion therapy
• Administer prescribed IV medications and infusion treatments
• Monitor patients during infusions and observe for adverse reactions
• Obtain and document vital signs as required
• Respond appropriately to patient reactions and escalate concerns when needed
• Communicate effectively with medical directors or management regarding patient status
• Document infusion services and patient responses accurately and timely
• Maintain a safe, professional, and compliant clinical environment
• Work independently while adhering to established clinical protocols

Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Bachelor’s degree in Nursing required; Master’s degree preferred
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IV-certified nurse
• Proven competency in IV initiation and infusion medication administration
• Strong assessment, observation, and documentation skills
• Excellent communication and clinical judgment
• Ability to work independently in a per diem clinical role
