Travel Speech-Language Therapist

Position Summary

We are seeking a Travel Speech-Language Therapist to assess and treat patients with speech, language, communication, voice, and swallowing disorders. The therapist will develop individualized treatment plans to improve patients' communication skills and overall quality of life across various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Assess patients' speech, language, communication, and swallowing abilities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Provide therapy to improve communication and swallowing functions.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home exercises.

• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to support patient care.

• Recommend communication aids and appropriate therapeutic strategies.

• Follow established safety standards and clinical guidelines.

• Adapt to different facilities and patient populations while traveling.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or an equivalent qualification.

• Current state license as required.

• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.

• Previous speech-language therapy experience preferred.

• Strong communication, assessment, and patient-care skills.

• Willingness to travel and adapt to different clinical settings.
