Travel Physical Therapist (PT)

We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Travel Physical Therapist to provide quality rehabilitation services during temporary assignments in various healthcare settings. The PT will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, improve mobility and function, and collaborate with healthcare teams.

Responsibilities:

• Perform physical and functional evaluations.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
• Provide therapeutic exercises, stretching, manual therapy, and mobility training.
• Assess and improve gait, balance, strength, range of motion, and coordination.
• Assist patients with transfers, ambulation, and appropriate assistive devices.
• Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, home programs, and safety.
• Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and communicate patient progress.
• Adapt to different facilities, workflows, patient populations, and care environments.
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
• Follow patient safety, infection prevention, and professional standards.

Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapist (PT) license.
• Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent from an accredited program.
• Previous clinical or rehabilitation experience preferred.
• Knowledge of physical therapy evaluation, rehabilitation, and treatment techniques.
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and workflows.
