Travel Occupational Therapist

Position Summary

We are seeking a Travel Occupational Therapist to help patients improve their functional abilities, independence, and daily living skills. The therapist will assess patient needs and develop individualized treatment plans across various healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients' physical, cognitive, and functional abilities.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

• Help patients improve mobility, coordination, and daily living skills.

• Recommend adaptive equipment and assistive devices.

• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

• Educate patients and families on therapeutic techniques and home safety.

• Maintain accurate patient records and treatment documentation.

• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

• Follow safety standards and established therapy guidelines.

• Adapt to different facilities and patient populations while traveling.

Qualifications

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy.

• Current Occupational Therapist license in the applicable state.

• Previous occupational therapy experience preferred.

• Strong assessment, communication, and patient-care skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team.

• Willingness to travel and adapt to different clinical settings.
