Position Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, adaptable, and experienced Travel Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide high-quality nursing care across various healthcare settings. The Travel LPN will deliver direct patient care, administer treatments, monitor patient conditions, and collaborate with healthcare teams while adapting quickly to new facilities, workflows, and patient populations. This role requires flexibility, strong clinical skills, and a commitment to providing safe and patient-centered care.


Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients under the supervision of Registered Nurses (RNs) and healthcare providers
• Perform patient assessments and monitor changes in patient health status
• Administer medications, treatments, and therapies within the scope of practice
• Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to interventions
• Assist with wound care, catheter care, and other nursing procedures as assigned
• Document patient care, assessments, and interventions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR)
• Communicate patient updates, concerns, and changes in condition to the appropriate healthcare team members
• Support activities of daily living (ADLs), patient comfort, mobility, and safety needs
• Provide patient and family education regarding medications, treatments, and care plans
• Collaborate with RNs, physicians, therapists, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
• Follow infection prevention, patient safety, and facility-specific policies
• Adapt quickly to new clinical environments, workflows, and care standards
• Maintain professionalism and deliver compassionate care throughout travel assignments


Required Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN/LVN) license in the state of practice
• Completion of an accredited Practical Nursing program
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent LPN experience preferred
• Prior travel healthcare experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of nursing principles, patient care procedures, and clinical documentation
• Excellent communication, teamwork, and organizational skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
• Willingness and ability to travel for contract assignments

Pay Rate
$34.29 - $39.17/hour
