Position Summary

We are seeking a Travel Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) to provide therapeutic services under the direction of an Occupational Therapist across different healthcare settings. The COTA will help patients improve functional abilities, independence, and daily living skills while adapting to different clinical environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement treatment plans developed by the Occupational Therapist.
• Provide therapeutic activities and exercises based on patient goals.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and functional tasks.
• Improve strength, coordination, balance, and motor skills through therapy.
• Provide training in adaptive techniques and equipment.
• Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Occupational Therapist.
• Educate patients and caregivers on therapy techniques and home programs.
• Maintain accurate and timely treatment documentation.
• Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
• Adapt effectively to different facilities, patient populations, and clinical workflows.

Qualifications

• Associate degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program.
• Current COTA certification and state license as applicable.
• Previous clinical experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
• Ability to work effectively in different healthcare environments.
• Willingness and ability to travel for assignments.
