Surgical Technologist
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technologist to assist the surgical team in providing safe and efficient patient care during operative procedures. The Surgical Technologist will prepare the operating room, maintain a sterile environment, and support surgeons throughout surgical procedures.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper handling of instruments and materials.
• Prepare and position patients for surgical procedures.
• Ensure proper cleaning, sterilization, and maintenance of surgical instruments and equipment.
• Follow infection control, safety, and quality assurance standards.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation as required.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Active and unrestricted Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and operating room protocols.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
• Previous operating room or surgical technologist experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$48.27 - $53.15/hour
