Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Surgical Technologist for a contract assignment. The Surgical Technologist will assist in surgical procedures by preparing operating rooms, maintaining sterile environments, handling surgical instruments, and supporting surgeons and the surgical team throughout procedures.

The ideal candidate should have experience in a variety of surgical specialties, including General Surgery, Orthopedics, ENT, OB/GYN, Podiatry, Urology, and Dental procedures. Responsibilities include preparing and organizing surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring proper sterilization techniques, anticipating the needs of the surgical team, and maintaining accurate documentation while adhering to all safety and infection control standards.

Candidates must have completed an accredited Surgical Technologist program. Surgical Technologist certification is preferred. Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification is required. Candidates must also complete mandatory state-required reporter training. Previous surgical technology experience is required.

This position primarily works 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday, with hours subject to change based on surgical case volume. Participation in on-call rotations, including nights, weekends, and holiday call coverage, is required. Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred.

Pay Rate
$47.51 - $52.39/hour
