Surgical Technician – Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR)
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Surgical Technician to support cardiovascular surgical procedures in a fast-paced operating room environment. The CVOR Surgical Technician will prepare surgical instruments, maintain a sterile field, and assist the surgical team to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and organize surgical instruments, equipment, and supplies for cardiovascular procedures.
• Maintain a sterile field throughout surgical procedures.
• Assist surgeons by passing instruments and supplies during surgery.
• Perform surgical counts and ensure proper handling of instruments and materials.
• Support patient preparation and positioning for procedures.
• Ensure compliance with infection control and safety standards.
Qualifications:
• Completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Active and unrestricted Surgical Technician certification preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of sterile technique and surgical procedures.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-acuity operating room environment.
• Previous CVOR or cardiovascular surgery experience preferred.
Pay Rate
$54.63 - $59.51/hour
