Rehabilitation Therapy – Speech Therapist
Provide skilled speech-language therapy to patients with communication, cognitive, speech, language, and swallowing disorders. The Speech Therapist will evaluate patients, develop individualized treatment plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and support functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing evaluations.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Provide therapy to improve communication, speech, cognition, and swallowing function.
- Monitor patient progress and modify treatment plans as needed.
- Educate patients and caregivers on therapeutic techniques and home programs.
- Recommend appropriate communication or swallowing aids when indicated.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and professional standards.
Qualifications
- Current Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license.
- Master's degree from an accredited Speech-Language Pathology program.
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred or required as applicable.
- Previous clinical experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients and interdisciplinary teams.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
