Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist to provide high-quality evaluation and therapy services to patients with speech, language, voice, cognitive-communication, or swallowing disorders. The Speech-Language Pathologist will assess patient needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals and families to help patients achieve optimal communication and swallowing function.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each patient’s goals and abilities
Provide therapy to improve articulation, language comprehension, expressive communication, and social communication skills
Educate and counsel patients, families, and caregivers on therapy techniques and strategies for continued progress at home
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care
Maintain accurate documentation of evaluations, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries
Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as needed to maximize outcomes
Utilize evidence-based practices and stay current with advancements in speech-language pathology
Promote a positive, supportive, and patient-centered environment
Qualifications:
Current and active Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) license
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred
Prior experience in a clinical, educational, or rehabilitation setting preferred
Strong assessment, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team
Compassionate, patient-focused approach with a commitment to quality care
Pay Rate
$40.00 - $42.00/hour
