Registered Nurse - Telemetry (RN - TELE)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Telemetry Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for patients requiring continuous cardiac monitoring. The RN will assess patient conditions, monitor heart rhythms, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure safe patient care.
Responsibilities
Assess patients and monitor vital signs and cardiac rhythms.
Interpret telemetry readings and report abnormal findings promptly.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
Monitor changes in patient conditions and respond to emergencies.
Provide nursing care based on individualized patient needs.
Assist with diagnostic procedures and cardiac assessments.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and health management.
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and nursing standards.
Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous telemetry, cardiac, or acute-care nursing experience preferred.
Strong cardiac assessment and critical-thinking skills.
BLS and ACLS certification as required.
Excellent communication, teamwork, and patient-care skills.
Pay Rate
$70.33 - $75.20/hour
