Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe, compassionate, and patient-centered nursing care. The RN will assess patient needs, administer medications and treatments, monitor clinical conditions, maintain accurate documentation, and collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients and identify changes in health status.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapies as ordered.
- Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and patient responses to treatment.
- Communicate patient conditions and significant changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Provide patient and family education regarding care, medications, and treatment plans.
- Perform nursing procedures according to established standards and protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Promote patient safety, comfort, privacy, and dignity.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Respond appropriately to emergencies and changes in patient condition.
- Follow infection prevention, HIPAA, safety, and facility policies.
- Participate in quality improvement and patient care initiatives.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
- Current, active, and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple patient-care responsibilities.
- Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous RN experience in a healthcare or hospital setting.
- BSN preferred.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
- BLS certification preferred/required based on assignment requirements.
- Additional specialty certifications based on the assigned department.
Pay Rate
$75.93 - $80.81/hour
