Telephone Triage
The Registered Nurse supports outpatient urology practices through coordination of patient and family care. The RN functions as a clinical expert and patient advocate within Urology while collaborating closely with providers, patients, and interdisciplinary team members.
Responsibilities include:
Managing patient calls and telephone triage
Reviewing and addressing clinical messages and CC'd charts
Managing MyChart advice requests
Relaying lab and imaging results with provider recommendations and medication education
Coordinating care with providers, staff, and interdisciplinary teams
Completing surgical readiness workflows and pre/post-operative education
Managing patient forms and follow-up coordination
Providing procedure education, including prostate biopsy and cystoscopy teaching
Supporting outpatient clinic operations and continuity of patient care
Outpatient experience required
Outpatient Urology experience preferred
Epic experience preferred
Pay Rate
$64.47 - $69.35/hour
