Registered Nurse (RN) – Family Medicine Clinic

Position Overview
The Registered Nurse (RN) will support a busy Family Medicine clinic serving patients across the lifespan, from neonates to geriatrics. The clinic is part of a multidisciplinary healthcare facility that also houses Behavioral Health, Community Health, and Neurology services. This role involves direct patient care, clinical support, triage, and assisting providers in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

Specialty: Family Medicine
Location: St. Luke's Clinic Family Medicine, Hailey, Idaho
Facility Size: 25 exam rooms plus 6 additional rooms upstairs
Provider Coverage: Approximately 15 full-time providers and 5 PRN/flex providers daily
Patient Volume: 120–150 patients per day
Same-day appointments and walk-in services available

Required Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
Current BLS certification
Minimum 1 year of outpatient clinic experience
Pediatric experience required
First-time travelers welcome
Phlebotomy experience preferred

Patient Population & Common Diagnoses

Neonates through geriatric patients
Well-baby and well-child examinations
Sports physicals
Women's annual wellness exams
Chronic disease management
Diabetes management
Family medicine services with some provider subspecialties including Sports Medicine and Obstetrics

Key Responsibilities

Patient triage and assessment
Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs
Medication administration
Immunizations for all age groups
Point-of-care testing
EKGs and diagnostic support
Wound care management
In-basket management and patient follow-up
Assisting with in-office procedures including:
- Vasectomies
- Circumcisions
- LEEP procedures
- Contraceptive insertions/removals
- Skin excisions
Supporting walk-in clinic operations

Reporting Structure

Reports directly to Team Leads
On-site management support available

Technology

Electronic Medical Record (EMR): Epic

Schedule

Shift: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM
Lunch: 30-minute break
Schedule: 4 days per week

Weekend, Holiday & Call Requirements

No required weekends
Optional opportunity to work Saturdays (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM) at the Ketchum Walk-In Clinic
No holiday requirements (clinic closed on holidays)
No call or standby requirements

Floating

Potential floating to Neurology or Behavioral Health clinics based on candidate experience and clinic needs
Floating is not mandatory

Orientation & Support

One-week orientation
Supported by Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs)

Pay Rate
$49.19 - $54.07/hour
