Registered Nurse – Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (RN - PICU)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse – PICU to provide specialized care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents. The nurse will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, and collaborate with the healthcare team to support recovery and ensure patient safety.
Responsibilities

Assess patients' conditions, vital signs, and clinical status.

Monitor cardiac rhythms, oxygen levels, and other critical care parameters.

Administer medications, IV fluids, and prescribed treatments.

Operate and monitor ventilators and other critical care equipment.

Respond promptly to emergencies and changes in patient conditions.

Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.

Educate and support families regarding patient conditions and treatment.

Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.

Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.

Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
-
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.

Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.

Previous pediatric or intensive care nursing experience preferred.

Knowledge of pediatric assessment and critical care procedures.
-
BLS and PALS certifications as required.

Strong clinical judgment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
Pay Rate
$73.46 - $78.34/hour
