Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality patient care in an outpatient clinical setting. The Outpatient RN will support physicians and healthcare teams by performing patient assessments, administering treatments, assisting with procedures, and educating patients on treatment plans and follow-up care. This role focuses on delivering efficient, patient-centered care while maintaining smooth clinic operations and ensuring compliance with clinical standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform patient intake assessments including vital signs, medical history, and symptom evaluation
• Prepare patients for examinations, diagnostic tests, and outpatient procedures
• Administer medications, injections, immunizations, and IV therapies as prescribed
• Assist physicians and healthcare providers during procedures and treatments
• Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes appropriately
• Provide patient and family education regarding treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care
• Coordinate scheduling for diagnostic tests, referrals, and follow-up appointments
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR) system
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and patient safety standards
• Maintain exam room readiness, equipment, and medical supply inventory
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support coordinated patient care
Required Qualifications:
• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (BSN preferred)
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent nursing experience in outpatient, clinic, or ambulatory care preferred
• Current BLS certification required
• Strong clinical assessment and patient education skills
• Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred
• Excellent communication, organizational, and multitasking abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced outpatient environment while delivering patient-centered care
Pay Rate
$84.45 - $89.33/hour
