Position Summary
We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (RN) to provide safe perioperative care and support surgical teams before, during, and after procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for surgical procedures and perform preoperative assessments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and clinical condition.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered.
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
- Maintain a safe and sterile operating room environment.
- Ensure surgical supplies, instruments, and equipment are available.
- Maintain accurate perioperative documentation.
- Provide postoperative care and appropriate patient handoff.
- Follow infection prevention and patient safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current, active RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Previous OR/perioperative nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced surgical environment.
Pay Rate
$70.33 - $75.20/hour
