Position Summary
We are seeking an Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) to provide safe and effective nursing care throughout surgical procedures. The RN will prepare patients, assist the surgical team, maintain a sterile environment, and support patients before, during, and after surgery.
Responsibilities
- Assess and prepare patients for surgical procedures.
- Assist with positioning, surgical preparation, and patient safety.
- Serve as circulating or scrub nurse as assigned.
- Monitor patients’ vital signs and clinical status during procedures.
- Assist surgeons and the surgical team during procedures.
- Maintain sterile technique and support infection prevention practices.
- Prepare and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment.
- Respond to changes in patient condition and assist with emergencies.
- Complete accurate perioperative documentation.
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills.
- BLS certification (AHA)
Pay Rate
$17.00 - $17.00/hour
