Shift: Day Shift
Schedule: 4 x 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours/week)
Hours: 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM
Additional Shift Options: 06:30 AM – 03:00 PM and 06:30 AM – 05:00 PM
Call Requirement: Yes (With Call)
Expected Shift: AM

Vaccination Requirements

COVID-19 vaccination is recommended but not required.
Influenza (Flu) vaccination is required from October through April.
Flu exemption requests must be submitted and approved by Phoenix Children’s prior to start.
Employees who decline either the Flu or COVID-19 vaccine must sign the required Declination & Masking Protocol agreements and wear a mask throughout the respiratory virus season.

Job Summary

The Clinical Nurse (RN) collaborates with the healthcare team, patients, and families to promote optimal patient health outcomes through the delivery of professional nursing care. Care is provided according to the patient's age, condition, nursing and medical plans of care, evidence-based nursing practices, hospital goals and values, and all applicable regulatory standards.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 2 years of recent nursing experience.
Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Operating Room (OR) experience.

Education Requirements

One of the following:

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
Diploma in Nursing

License & Certification Requirements

Current Arizona RN License
RN license from a Compact State with multistate privileges, or
Ability to obtain Arizona licensure prior to start date.
Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.
Current PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association.

Pay Rate
$58.56 - $63.43/hour
