Position Summary
We are seeking an Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) to provide compassionate and specialized care to patients undergoing cancer treatment and related therapies.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess and monitor oncology patients and their clinical conditions.
- Administer medications, chemotherapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Monitor patients for treatment responses and adverse reactions.
- Provide symptom management and supportive care.
- Educate patients and families about treatment plans, medications, and side effects.
- Communicate patient status and changes to physicians and the care team.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow medication safety, infection prevention, and patient safety standards.
- Provide emotional support to patients and families.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- ADN or BSN from an accredited nursing program.
- Current, active RN license.
- BLS certification.
- Oncology nursing experience preferred.
- Strong clinical assessment, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to work effectively with patients, families, and multidisciplinary teams.
Pay Rate
$70.33 - $75.20/hour
