Job Title: RN – NICU IV
Position Summary
We are seeking a NICU Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to premature, critically ill, and medically complex newborns. The RN will monitor infants, administer treatments, assist with procedures, and support families.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to NICU patients.
- Monitor vital signs, oxygen levels, and changes in condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments.
- Operate and monitor neonatal equipment.
- Assist with procedures and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Educate and support parents and families.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
- Collaborate with neonatologists and the healthcare team.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- NICU experience preferred.
- Knowledge of neonatal and critical care nursing.
- BLS and NRP certification preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Ability to care for high-acuity newborns.
- Strong assessment, communication, critical-thinking, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$78.17 - $83.05/hour
