RN Medical Unit
Position Summary
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for a Medical Unit to provide comprehensive nursing care to patients with a variety of medical conditions. The RN will assess patients, administer medications and treatments, monitor clinical status, and coordinate care with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
Assess and monitor patients’ health status and clinical needs.
Monitor vital signs, symptoms, and changes in patient condition.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
Provide wound care and other nursing procedures within scope of practice.
Assist patients with mobility, daily care, and recovery activities.
Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition.
Educate patients and families regarding medications, treatments, and care plans.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare professionals.
Follow infection control, patient safety, and clinical nursing standards.
Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the applicable state.
Nursing degree from an accredited program.
Previous medical unit or acute care experience preferred.
Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
Excellent communication, organizational, and patient-care skills.
BLS certification as required for the role.
Pay Rate
$52.85 - $57.72/hour
