Job Title: RN – Critical Care
Position Summary
We are seeking a Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to critically ill and unstable patients. The RN will monitor patient conditions, administer treatments, manage critical care equipment, and collaborate with the healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and changes in patient condition.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered.
- Manage and monitor ventilators, pumps, and other critical care equipment.
- Assist with procedures and emergency interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing documentation.
- Communicate patient changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Educate and support patients and families.
- Follow infection control and patient safety standards.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Previous critical care or ICU experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of critical care nursing and emergency procedures.
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred or required based on facility requirements.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and teamwork skills.
Pay Rate
$78.17 - $83.05/hour
