Job Details
Rehab Therapy Manager (Physical Therapist) is responsible for leading and managing the physical therapy department while providing direct patient care and supervising assigned staff. The role includes developing and administering therapy programs based on physician instructions using therapeutic techniques such as exercise therapy, manual therapy, electrical stimulation, ultrasound, traction, and patient education. Responsibilities also include monitoring patient progress, modifying treatment plans when necessary, supervising therapy staff and students, coordinating patient scheduling, preparing reports, managing departmental budgets, and ordering supplies and equipment.
The position requires graduation from an accredited physical therapy program, active state licensure, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, along with several years of clinical experience and prior leadership or management experience in a rehabilitation therapy setting. The role requires strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills while ensuring quality patient care, maintaining professional standards, and collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams during regular weekday shifts.
Pay Rate
$135,000.00 - $145,000.00/year
