Shifts: 4x12s Days 0700-1930
Ratios: 1:4
Years of experience Req: 2 years oncology required, also willing to look at MS RNs who have outpatient oncology experience.
First-timers accepted: Yes
Weekend Req: Yes, every other
Certs Req: BLS and Chemo cert.
Call Req: not mandatory, but optional
Floating within Hospital: yes to All MedSurg units
Floating to sister Hospitals: No
Open to accommodating block schedule: No
Locals accepted: Yes
Pending License accepted: No
RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max
Special Notes: Lymphoma, Solid tumor, Sarcoma. May need to transport own patient to procedures/testing. Chemo admin/ monitoring/ precautions. Port access. IVv start. CVC maintenance. PCA, lift equipment (unit based), X3 for tele monitoring.
Guaranteed Hours:
In the event of low census Healthcare Providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in *** hour increments up to 1 shifts worth of hours in a 2 week cycle.
For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
