Position / Specialty: Neonatal Intensive Care Unit RN
Start date: 6/22
Shift: 4x12 preferred, 3x12 Days will be considered.
Ratios: 1:1
Years of experience Req: 2 Years as Permanent staff, exp at teaching hospitals (at least 3 years NICU exp at level III)
First-timers accepted: No
Weekend Req: 2 weekend shifts per month, they are variable - scheduled on an as needed basis. Must be flexible to unit needs if need to pick up additional occasionally
Certs Req: BLS, NRP
Call Req: No
Floating within Hospital: Yes - to Mother Baby to care for babies only
Floating to sister Hospitals: No
Open to accommodating block schedule: No – unless posting states otherwise
Locals accepted: Yes
Pending License accepted: No
RTO Restrictions: 1 Week Max
Special Notes: 54-bed level III unit serves as regional referral center for high-risk infants. The majority of the patients are very low birth weight premies requiring ventilatory support. New state of the art unit.
Guaranteed Hours:
In the event of low census Healthcare Providers may be called off without charge or placed on-call (for standard on-call rate) in *** hour increments up to 1 shifts worth of hours in a 2 week cycle.
For ambulatory or surgical services areas that are closed on weekends and holidays, Hospitals will not schedule travelers or meet the minimum during these periods.
