Shift: Day (5x8 Hours) 11:00 19:30
Description:
PACU Holding - MS/Tele RN (preferably someone with post op experience)
The hours will be 11am to 730pm M-F, no weekends, no holidays or call.
Hospital operations will be supporting by sending a PCT during this time. These patients will be fully recovered and waiting on their disposition, either discharge or more often a bed upstairs.
Float Required: Y - Float to med surg PRN
Unit Accepts 1st time Traveler: Y - Orientation in PACU Extended Stay
Scrubs: Provided
Years of Experience Required: 1 year - RN preferably with post op experience
Locals Accepted: N - must be > 75 miles
Epic Required
Ratios: Day/Eve ratios are 5 to 1 (stretch 6-7). Night ratios are expected to be 6-7 to 1 (stretch 8 -10 if staff calls in)
Patient Diagnoses: Post operative patients fully recovered, ortho, neuro, GYN and general cases as well as others. Patients needing observation waiting on disposition.
Certifications: BLS
Skills: Cardiac Telemetry, MS/Tele, Interpretation of dysrhythmias, Management of dysrhythmias, Telemetry - on the unit monitoring, Use of Rapid Response/Code teams, Peripheral Line Care/Management, Starting and maintaining IVs, Heparin Protocols, Total joint replacement, Nasal Cannula, Non-invasive airway management, Oxygen administration, Oxygen tanks, Isolation Precautions/PPE, Phlebotomy
Pay Rate
$56.02 - $60.89/hour
