Registered Nurse – Telemetry
Position Summary
Provide skilled nursing care to patients requiring cardiac monitoring and telemetry services. Monitor cardiac rhythms and vital signs, administer treatments, and respond promptly to changes in patient conditions to ensure safe and effective patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions.
Monitor cardiac rhythms, vital signs, and other clinical parameters.
Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed.
Recognize and report abnormal cardiac rhythms and changes in patient status.
Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans.
Assist with cardiac-related procedures and interventions as needed.
Educate patients and families on medications, treatments, and discharge instructions.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
Follow infection-control, patient safety, and clinical standards.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
Current and active RN license in the applicable state.
Previous telemetry, cardiac, or acute care nursing experience preferred.
BLS and ACLS certifications required or as applicable.
Strong cardiac assessment, critical-thinking, communication, and clinical skills.
Pay Rate
$70.00 - $100.00/hour
