Class/Area: ICU RN
Bill Rate: $95 before admin fee
Start Date: 11/23 or 2 weeks after
Ori Schedule: Will attend the fist 2 days of orientation at the KUKC Campus, on day 3 THP will attend Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training, Day 4 Olathe Director of Nursing training, Day 5 THP will attend virtual Epic training. Following first week of unit orientation will be on days
Non-Billable Ori: 8hrs
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Scheduled details: 12hr nights; 1900-0730 x3 shifts per week
Weekend Requirement: Every other weekend required
Holiday Requirement: Based on unit needs, travelers must work: Christmas Eve or Day | New Year’s Eve or Day
Floating Requirement: Will be expected to float to PCU/CCU and all inpatient units- Med/surge, Med/tele, Acute/tele, and ED with prior experience
On-Call Requirement: None
This is an ICU/PCU Hybrid contract as they are sister units
Mixed Critical Care unit (Neuro/Spine/Cardiac/Medical/Surgical Patient Mix)
-RN ratio is 2:1 with Critical patients, flex to 3:1
Experience Requirements: 2 years recent experience in Critical Care/Intensive Care Unit minimum, Must have experience with balloon pump, CRRT, Impella, open hearts,(MUST HAVE FOR NIGHTS) drawing own labs, PICC, no vascular access team, call on own consults, conduct own codes(must be comfortable)
New graduates accepted? NO
License/ Certification Requirements: KS RN or Compact RN License along with BLS, ACLS, & NIH
Client Specific Notes: TUKHS is a nicotine-free facility | Client is allowed the cancellation of one shift per 2-week pay period at no cost to the client and no pay to the employee. Will provide a minimum 2hrs notice via Smart Square.
Creds Due: Mon 1 week prior to Mon start | CBC, DS, and lab work must be completed within 72 hours of offer acceptance.
