Registered Nurse - ICU
Position Summary
We are seeking an Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) to provide specialized care to critically ill patients. The RN will continuously monitor patients, administer medications and treatments, manage complex care needs, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Responsibilities
- Assess and continuously monitor critically ill patients.
- Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and other clinical indicators.
- Administer medications, IV therapy, and prescribed treatments.
- Manage ventilators, oxygen therapy, and other critical care equipment as needed.
- Recognize and respond promptly to changes in patient condition.
- Assist with procedures and emergency interventions.
- Educate and support patients and their families.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Follow infection control, safety, and critical care standards.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
Qualifications
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Nursing degree from an accredited program.
- ICU or critical care nursing experience preferred.
- Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and clinical decision-making skills.
- BLS and ACLS certification; additional certifications may be required based on unit requirements.
Pay Rate
$56.66 - $61.53/hour
