Location: 20333 W 151 Street Olathe, KS 66061
Class/Area: RN / Emergency Room
Bill Rate: $90 before admin fee
Start Date: 11/23 or 2 weeks after
Ori Schedule: THP will attend the fist 2 days of orientation at the KUKC Campus, on day 3 THP will attend Olathe orientation and Director of Nursing training, Day 4 Olathe Director of Nursing training, Day 5 THP will attend virtual Epic training.
Non-Billable Ori: 8hrs
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Scheduled details: 12hr Nights; 1900-0730 x3 shifts per week
Weekend Requirement: Will be required to work up to 3 weekend nights (Fri/Sat/Sun) per pay period
Holiday Requirement: Required based on unit needs; Will be scheduled to work Christmas Eve or Day and New Years Eve or Day
Floating Requirement: Will not float out of the unit. Will care for some inpatient boarders
On-Call Requirement: None
Experience Requirements: Must have 1 year experience working in the ED within the last 12 months
Experience Preferred: 2 years min in the ED
License/ Certification Requirements: KS or Multi State RN License, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS & Conscious Sedation Competency
Additional Certification Preferred - TNCC
Notes: 29 bed Emergency Department serving the southern half of Johnson County. We are a chest pain and primary stroke center. And handle daily volumes of around 120 patients. Looking for self-motivated and team-oriented individuals. Comfortable handling inpatient boarders, adaptable to rapidly changing conditions, and maintains a positive attitude. Ratios; 3:1 or 4:1 if needed.
TUKHS is a nicotine-free facility Client is allowed the cancellation of one shift per 2-week pay period at no cost to the client and no pay to the employee. Will provide a minimum 2-hour notice.
Creds Due: 1 week prior to Monday start
