Unit: ICU - CVICU
Experience Requirements:3 yrs CV ICU - Must submit a passing EKG test of 80% or higher
Weekend: Every other weekend
Holidays: Yes
No Oncall
Orientation: 16 hours of orientation (client pays 50% up to 16 hours)
Float: May float to Glenbrook MICU, Evanston ICU or Highland Park ICU if needed.
Pay Schedule: Biweekly Pay
Charge experience: preferred - please note if they have charge exp
License/ Certification Requirements: Active IL lic, CPR,ACLS, NIHSS Epic experience
Campus. GB Campus is cardio vascular focused
REQUIRED Skills: CVI ICU
•Interpretation/management of dysrhythmias, multi-system organ failure, thermoregulation, CABG, Intra-Aortic Balloon Pump, Impella, Post Cardiac Surgery (not directly from the OR), Pre/Post Cardiac Cath/intervention, Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring, Valve Replacement/Repair, LVAD/RVAD, CVVHD/CRRT, IV therapy (accessing ports, arterial line management, blood product administration, central line care/management, PICC line management, starting IVs), Medications (continuous IV paralytics/neuromuscular blockade, continuous IV sedation, emergency medications, procedural sedation administration, titrate cardiac drips, titrate vasoactive drips), CVA/Acute Stroke Management, Lumbar drains, assist with management of BiPAP, Assist with management of CPAP, Care of ventilated patient, high flow nasal cannula (HFNC),
interpretation of ABGs, suctioning (ETT, NT), ventilator management, infection prevention, isolations precautions/Use of PPE, phlebotomy, surgical wounds with drains/would vac
EXP preferred: experience with devices such as impella, ECMO and managing the care of LVAD patients.

Pay Rate
$64.23 - $69.11/hour
