Job Title: Radiologic Technologist – Radiographer (000439)
Job Summary:
The Radiologic Technologist (Radiographer) is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging examinations using X-ray equipment. This role ensures high-quality imaging while maintaining patient safety, comfort, and adherence to established clinical protocols and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine and specialized radiographic procedures as ordered by physicians
- Prepare and position patients correctly to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Operate radiographic equipment safely and efficiently
- Ensure radiation safety standards are followed at all times
- Review images for quality and accuracy before submission
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to support patient care
- Adhere to infection control and safety guidelines
Required Skills & Experience:
- One (1) year of General Radiographer experience
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Radiologic Technology or related field
- Valid licensure/certification as required by local regulatory authorities
Work Environment:
- Hospital or clinical setting
- May require standing for extended periods and assisting patients with mobility
Pay Rate
$66.72 - $71.60/hour
