Radiologic Technologist (Rad Tech)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Radiologic Technologist to perform diagnostic imaging procedures and produce high-quality images to support accurate diagnosis and patient care.
Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations according to physician orders.
Prepare patients for imaging procedures and explain the process.
Position patients correctly to obtain clear, accurate images.
Operate and maintain radiology equipment safely.
Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure.
Review images for quality and repeat studies when necessary.
Maintain accurate imaging records and documentation.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals.
Ensure patient comfort, privacy, and safety.
Follow established imaging procedures and safety standards.
Qualifications
Associate degree or equivalent qualification in Radiologic Technology.
Current state license as required.
ARRT certification preferred or required as applicable.
Knowledge of radiographic procedures, anatomy, and radiation safety.
Strong technical, communication, and patient-care skills.
Ability to work effectively in a healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$70.33 - $75.20/hour
