Job Title: Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, mobility training, and functional activities.
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Monitor patients’ progress and report changes or concerns to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients and caregivers on exercises, mobility techniques, and safe practices.
- Assist with the use of therapeutic equipment and modalities.
- Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation.
- Follow patient safety, infection control, and facility policies.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to support patient recovery and functional independence.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program.
- Current PTA license or certification as required by the state.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, mobility techniques, and patient care.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Pay Rate
$41.41 - $46.29/hour
