Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)
Position Summary
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to provide therapeutic services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist, helping patients improve mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence.
Responsibilities
- Implement treatment plans developed by the Physical Therapist.
- Provide therapeutic exercises and physical therapy interventions.
- Assist patients with mobility, transfers, gait, balance, and strengthening.
- Monitor patient response and report changes to the Physical Therapist.
- Educate patients on exercises and home programs.
- Document treatments and progress accurately.
- Maintain a safe therapy environment and follow professional standards.
Qualifications
- Associate degree from an accredited PTA program.
- Current PTA license or certification.
- Clinical experience preferred.
- Strong communication and patient-care skills.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach.
Pay Rate
$41.41 - $46.29/hour
